The word Masarap means Delicious in the Filipino language. Join a workshop with Filipino Australian artist Ben Tupas and explore storytelling through food.

Workshop participants will explore the ingredients relating to the famous Filipino dish Chicken Adobo and hear the personal story behind Ben’s artwork

“Masarap” (2022). Participants will then make art inspired by their family recipes, record their story or create a digital photographic work that incorporates the story behind the food. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will get a chance to sample Chicken Adobo from a local restaurant. Masarap!
